< B>Personality & Quirks:</b> Lakshata is sort of aloof, and very smart, even if she doesn't make it a point to show it off to everyone she meets. For the most part, she is very laid-back and nonconfrontational. However, she does see her inventions as her "children", and as such will speak to the defense of hermachinations as soon as they are questioned. Though by no means high-strung, she is "very proud of all of her children".
Lakshata also enjoys lounging around -- it's the same I-lounge-therefore-I-am attitude we see from Yuuko -- complete with accessory tobacco pipe. She is rarely seen without her pipe, and usually when not hard at work, lying about somewhere looking bored.
While she's not explicitly religious, she does practice some aspects of Hinduism, and occasionally names her sidestep inventions after the precepts and deities.

Lakshata attended the Amity University in Jaipur, earning a double Bachelor's in Mechanical & Automation Engineering and Nanotechnology. Before she could decide to return for a Master's degree, she began work in lucrative fields of service -- an internship with Boeing, a private pharmaceutical company, and several private investors who asked her to create everything from private planes to security systems and vaults.
Lakshata has since fallen off the investor radar, and apparently owes Kato Maki a sort of favor -- but if you ask, she won't tell.
